Live Wedding Illustration Experience by Lyndsey, Captured Moments

I attend your wedding venue ahead of your guests’ arrival, capturing quick photographs of their fabulous outfits as they arrive. From there, I begin illustrating throughout your day, creating beautiful, hand-painted keepsakes while providing a unique and engaging form of entertainment for your guests, who can watch each piece come to life.

Each illustration is created using traditional watercolor techniques, in my own whimsical, classical style—perfectly complementing the elegance and atmosphere of your special day. As a thoughtful finishing touch, guests receive their portrait as a gift from the happy couple, making it both a memorable experience and a treasured keepsake.

All papers are fully personalised to suit your wedding theme, with a range of optional finishes including embossing, bespoke printing, and luxury presentation. You can also choose to include a personalised thank-you message on the reverse of each illustration, turning every piece into both a gift and a meaningful note of appreciation from your day.

During a typical 5–6 hour booking, I create approximately 30 illustrations. These usually include couples, some family groups, and a few individual portraits. If you require more, additional illustrations can be completed in the studio after the event and posted either directly to your guests or to you for distribution.

Packaging options range from simple protective sleeves to beautifully printed envelopes with wax seals, as well as framing options—perfect for guests to display their artwork immediately.
